Making traditional wines... from Goa, and from tropical fruit

By Frederick Norohna

Dr. John Rodrigues of Chichinim, who was formerly doing product
development for Hoechst medicines now swears by the power of wine. He has four variants of Kokum wine in both sec (dry) and demi-sec (semi-dry)
types. You can smell it, taste it and buy it to drink at home. He talks, in May 2008, about the wide range of wines he has been working on, from the village he lives in, in Goa. See an earlier report at http://osdir.com/ml/culture.region.india.goa.saligao/2006-05/msg00009.html
